The Gibraltar Trade Center was only open on the weekends and hosted a open sales floor where people could shop many vendors, it became one of the most popular places to visit in Downriver due to it’s unique style and in 1990 it opened a second location in Mt Clemens MI northeast to Detroit. The Center would later be demolished in 2015 and sold to Menards Home Improvement in 2017/2018 which would go on to become one of the first Menards Locations in Michigan, later in 2019 BJ Wholesale would build upon the land of the former Trade Center as well, The Mt Clemens Location closed in 2017, though the flea market charm is gone in the Detroit Region, the owners still own two smaller shops "Gibraltar Gun and Knife Shows" and "Gibraltar Rug and Furniture" store in Warren MI
